Two best friends who love cocktails, but didn’t always love making them.

Our Story

Marcin Malyszko and Amit Singh connected at a Southern California food drive, bonding over their humble upbringings, love of ready-to-pour cocktails and shared passion for philanthropy. Even with 20 years between them, the meeting led them to become fast friends, and Mission Cocktails was born. “Together, we wanted to combine our business experience, passion for cocktails, and desire to make a difference by creating a perpetual giving machine to help fight food insecurity,” Malyszko said.

It’s been three years since the duo launched their pre-made, spirit-driven cocktails, a project dreamt up during the COVID-19 pandemic. The bottled drinks range from fruity mai tais, cosmopolitans and margaritas to bold Manhattans, old-fashioneds and espresso martinis. All are crafted with local California ingredients for sips that are authentic and offer a sense of place.

In that short time, the Mission Viejo-based brand, which funds a meal for every bottle sold, has contributed more than $250,000 to Feeding America and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County to fund upwards of 1,675,924 meals for families. The startup, now sold in more than 600 storefronts – including Total Wine, BevMo!, Whole Foods Market, Bristol Farms, Pavilions and more – is on pace to double its sales this year and anticipates sponsoring more than 2 million meals in 2026 alone.

Despite only being in operation for a few years, the significance of their work is clear. “If two guys with no experience in the alcohol industry, operating in one of the lowest-margin businesses, can create this kind of impact, we hope our story inspires other companies to give back, lead with purpose and help make the world a better place,” Malyszko said.

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT US

Made with blanco tequila, orange liqueur and lime, this cloudy yellow liquid includes rich hints of cooked lemon, butterscotch and honey. A bit of alcohol zing is welcome to brace up the sweet flavors, creating a complex, even easy-drinking profile. A percentage of sales is donated to social and environmental causes.

The combination of flavors in this ready-to-serve margarita are fascinating. While the typical margarita's sweet flavors present themselves up front, it almost has a pineapple-tasting finish, and not in a negative manner whatsoever. It simply enhances the journey as you're transported to the tropics while sipping on this cocktail.

Life and Sprinkles

This is a California-based company with a two-pronged mission: Source all their ingredients from within 100 miles of the bottling location in the Golden State, and use a generous portion of those proceeds to support local food banks as part of the company’s “Pour it Forward” philosophy. As of last fall, that initiative had so far provided more than 26,000 meals–not bad for a small, upstart bottled cocktail company. We applaud founders Marcin Malyszko and Amit Singh for making fighting hunger an integral part of the company’s titular mission.

They've got a whole line. It's not just margaritas. They have Mai Tais and Old Fashions and Manhattans. All super good. 375ml is about $20, which is $5 or $7 per drink, which isn't a bad price. It's a 25% ABV. So about what a margarita would be in an actual bar setting. So throw a lime in there, will you please? Okay. Yep. Just a little squeeze. There we go. So you can find these in stores in California, or you can visit the link in the bio to buy them online. Let's try them. Cheers. These are our special agave mugs that you can get. Yep. Good. So good. Oh yeah. Really good. Yeah. But it tastes like real tequila. So much of the pre-made margaritas have a very thick weirdo chemical taste. And this does not at all. No, this is good. Big fan. Grab them if you get a chance. Go to the bio. Buy some mugs from us too.
